Concept - Set in a remote Danish location by the sea, elderly couple Frederik and Rosalinde navigate the twilight of their loveless marriage. As Frederik's health declines, he becomes convinced that Rosalinde is trying to poison him. His paranoia deepens with the arrival of Aisha, a nurse who moves in with them overnight, to take care of him. In a desperate act to ensure his survival, Frederik switches Rosalinde’s heart medication with harmless mints, leading to her untimely death. Seen through the unreliable eyes of Frederik, the events of "Midnight Sun" explore aging, loneliness, and the consequences of mistrust, all wrapped in the foil of a slow-burning psychological thriller.
